I believe in 2 years we should expect the following results from our Global leaders:

That ever single person globally have access to free basic Health Care, free clean water, free basic food, Free basic shelter, free general mobility, basic human rights, a life without war, a living fair wage for work.

No employee from the top level down should ever make more than 100X the salary of any other employee Globally (including incentive packages often offered by the board).

Any company wishing to sell goods in the USA or to a US company must abide by our rigorous Child Labor Laws, OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and other worker protection measures no matter which country their operation is housed.

I believe in 2 years we should expect the following results from our Local leaders:

End / renouncement / apology for torture committed over the last 10 years.

End to Corporate person hood

End to the Death penalty

Open source every aspect of Government operations (Documents, Databases, and Correspondences paid for by the people are the people's to own and review).

A massive strengthening of private citizen's rights

Look, I'm sure you have a lot of issues that you wish to support. HOWEVER, we are looking for ones that 99% of Americans would endorse. Capping salaries of private businesses is NOT going to fly.

Try and think about issues where we can reach a CONSENSUS/AGREEMENT and embrace THOSE!

By promoting the stances you are, you are dividing more than helping.

By the way, Consensus and Agreement are what got us here. We need leadership and vision. This is my vision, it is accomplish-able, reasonable, and attacks the very heart of many of our problems.

I'm sorry I don't share your optimism regarding regulating salaries. I don't think it would fly at all.All that would happen with such a system is that companies would fire low level employees and we'd see more companies like ManPower (which provides temps or other cheap fulltime employees) be used to circumnavigate your laws.

If you honestly think it would work, then try calling for boycotts of companies where it is really onerous and see how successful that is.

It's not a salary cap. Its a salary base, make as much as you want.

Doesn't change a thing. The CEO and his inner circle would still have high salaries with contractors providing the low-level and low-cost employees.

the CEO of the contractors would not be able to make high salaries though...

lol, so?!? In reality he would just be a middle manager who had been split off to work as a contractor. You're not changing a thing other than causing a shuffling of paperwork.

I'm not capping salaries, You can make as much as you want. But you have to bring your employees with you.
