Forum Post: PRIORITY #1 - Campaign Finance Reform

The chance of getting any of the reforms people are suggesting is next to zero if the root cause is not addressed. We need to get the money out of politics. For decades corporations and special interests have used our current system of legalized bribery to subvert our political process in their favor. Americans have been disenfranchised and it is only going to get worse unless some real structural change takes place. Pinning our hopes on a new candidate or charismatic leader won't fix a thing. We need a constitutional amendment or the like that puts and end to monied interest being able to buy off our "representatives."
