Forum Post: Positive Change with OWS - Create a "Giving Pledge" for the 99%

You may have heard about the "Giving Pledge" where 70 of our nation's billionaires have made public pledges to give the majority of their wealth to charity over the course of the rest of their lives. While that's a great start, the real money in philanthropy comes from the 99%. Over 70% of charitable donations come from individuals like you and me. So why not take the energy of the Occupy Wall Street movement and make a "Giving Pledge" of our own?
