Forum Post: Portland Police Shut down Bridge to halt protestors

Just reporting on local news... Portland Police shut down Steel Bridge( main artery into the city). To halt the advance of protestors. Teamsters out in support of protestors.

Confrontation Likely...

Thoughts Protestors have succeeded in forcing police into shutting down one of the most important routs into the city. Not sure it is worth trying to accomplish more right now. Should not be risking physical danger in crossing the bridge.

Maybe better to march round to Burnside bridge and cross there.. avoid the confrontation.
