I wish there was a website that listed all U.S. Senators and Representatives with their corporate sponsors. That way we could better understand the web of influence.
Creating such a site would require research into campaign contributions, gifts from lobbyists and so on. Here's a start: http://www.dailyfinance.com/2010/10/13/the-10-biggest-corporate-campaign-contributors-in-u-s-politics/
Perhaps the site could be organized/searchable in three ways: by state, by politician's last name, and by corporation.
Actually, I also wish people would list the top contributor alongside party and state in news articles and such. So a name would appear like this: Richard Shelby (R-Ala.-JPM), meaning Republican, Alabama, JPMorgan Chase.
