Police Takedown of Zuccotti Park on Nov. 15, 2011 @ 1:20 AM. Unedited, live film near Liberty Square in Manhattan as protestors rallied in support of Occupy Wall Street, while the police herded the crowds away. If you fail to move and don't have a proper permit and block others from using the sidewalk, pepper spray is more than warranted.
At 1:30 AM, no Wall Street executives were being blocked on the sidewalk on their way to work.
1:30 AM in New York is blocking the sidewalk. I'm a New Yorker and people use the sidewalk day and night there. Illegal protest and blocking of the sidewalks is illegal. If people resist the police repeatedly, the police will respond to do their job.
No New Yorker was blocked by the protestors. The same cannot be said for the police.
Why are so many Italian and Irish New Yorkers not smart enough to do anything but be cops?
This is not helping the movement.
Freshly ground pepper spray is really good on a salad.
I say kill em with kindness.. Make Friday "Hug a Cop" day. Just walk up to each and every one of them, shake their hands and tell them what a fine job they are doing and hand them donuts. They won't know how to handle it.
