Please support them....CU's invest their excess capital in Govt Bonds or they buy Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac debt...Those bonds are issued to buy our loans from us or to bail us out if we need it again....So-Please, Please support them...and please don't tell too many of your friends to check their balance sheets or everyone will know what they do with their money and they might stop buying!
