Hi there. I wanted to pass along this article I found - I feel it is incredibly important and needs to be read by those in this movement. For those who do take the time to read it, please don't dismiss it as 'new age' religious crap. i think the one thing we can all agree is that what most of us have been taught to believe is "wrong" is not actually that at all ...
I came across this article, which I will admit is a spiritual article (but not religious), it was written in 2008 and it not only foretells the economic downturn of the U.S. and the EU, but it also describes the loss of the people's power, touches upon corporations - and i believe, captures what this movement is about - it's foretelling of great changes that are forthcoming, not only to our economics, but to our ways of life - i'm thinking of environmental, political, social, changes.

Sounds like new age drivel. Many words combined to form "deep spiritual thoughts". Just a whole lot of nothing.

it doesn't offer a solution, but it is very insightful about what caused our problems in the first place.
it may be new age, but to say "drivel" is to assume that all "new age" is useless. if that is your belief, that's fine. you're free to believe what you want. just know that the world is going through a lot of changes as we speak, and your perceptions might have to shift slightly.
Please don't pay Thrasymaque any mind. He is a paid troll. All he cares about are his own ideas. He loves to criticize and censor people and the forum. He has nothing interesting to say. He doesn't have the ability to avoid the posts that he doesn't agree with. Instead he posts negative comments and defaces them. He is a douchebag. BTW I found the story very inspirational. I found it far more spiritual than religious.
Yes, my belief is that all new age stuff is useless. I would even say dangerous as it confuses the issues. I like precise scientific papers when seeking to elucidate problems and attempting to find worthwhile and practical solutions. There's no need for fantasy in such circumstances. It's just an obstacle on the path towards the truth.
I would like to know what part of that article, other than perhaps the beginning - (depending on what you believe), is fantastical. I also do not see anywhere in that article where the issue is confused. in fact, everything that they've written about the issue is spot-on. the people have given far too much power to their political leaders, this economical problem cannot be solved by, to quote einstein, "using the same thinking that created the problem in the first place." love cannot be scientifically proven, but it exists.
I think love can be scientifically proven. It's nothing but a complex series of chemical reactions; so complex that it reaches transcendence which makes it seem like magic when it's not. Saying that love cannot be proved scientifically is a God of the gaps argument. It's nice to quote Einstein, but he's getting old. A lot has happened in the world of science since his death.
I tend to agree with you. As far as I can tell it doesn't really matter what you believe in reference to the article
