I am all for protesting, but I am not for stopping the work of any business. Remember there are real people who work in these places to feed their families. Stopping a port's operations, blocking a bridge, shutting down the bank for the day, etc. is not what I call a peaceful protest, but a destructive forceful action and it is not fair to the people who work there.

If OWS is all for fairness and respect, then I ask that you respect the people work in these places. So far, I have not seen that respect from OWS. It seems like they want to force their ideas upon others.

Its ok if you stand outside singing songs with signs, but its not ok to shutdown a business. Remember that action against restaurants which OWS took. Real people were laid off from jobs as a result. Will OWS compensate those who were laid off from their 500k general account?
