Dear Occupy Wall Street,

Congratulations for truly embracing the ideals of civil resistance to stimulate change in our country at a time when we desperately need it. One of the most consistent messages from your protests has been the need to address corporate greed. Please consider my humble suggestion that a starting point for discussion may be the need to separate our government from corporate influence by disconnecting the money flow that allows big companies to finance political campaigns. Removing corporate influence, especially during an election cycle, may eliminate the dead lock in our political system and return our congressmen and senators to the job of representing people and not business in exchange for election contributions. We can demand that political contributions be limited to $1,000.00 per person or corporation per year. Derailing the money flow to Washington can in many ways return the work of government to the people and stop the ability of corporations to influence policy and pave the way for greed to dissipate on a national plane while leveling the playing field for all political candidates.

Thank you in advance for your consideration.

Tim
