-Bring a page of notes to every march and meeting
it can be original content or copied and pasted from an interesting blog or news source
-At open mics, write down what you are going to say and edit it before speaking
This takes seconds and can be done while other people are speaking, it will help you speak more smoothly and less emotionally and will help you be understood and heard.
-have 3 talking points ready
3 main ideas you want to get across, so you dont end up saying "We are the 99 percent, occupy everwhere, i love you." and nothing new or compelling. especially if you are going to talk to a livestream or to media, having talking points is important, or else you are wasting their time.
remember that there are many infiltrators, undercover cops, cross dressing, acting crazy, and creating violence to make the movement look bad. don't be deterred, just stay on point.
bring new and interesting content to meetings, dont repeat the same buzzwords/buzz phrases over and over.
the movement thanks you
I support you totally. I'm not inside occupy movement because I'm in Europe but watching a lot of you guys on TV makes me laughing sometimes.. so thumbs up for your proposal
