Forum Post: Please ask Carolyn McCarthy and others to divest Wal-Mart stock

On a couple of occasions I have cited Carolyn McCarthy positively, especially compared to the vast majority of other politicians who don't seem to try to do anything for the public, because she has been trying to promote several good laws including reasonable gun control and an end to corporal punishment in school. she didn't get nearly as much attention from the commercial media as the politicians that promote the corporate agenda; so I was somewhat surprised to find that she holds stock in Wal-Mart, the biggest gun dealer in the country. This is a blatant conflict of interests.

If you agree then please ask her to divest.
