Forum Post: Phase two, Boycott Wall Street!

Occupy has raised awareness, awareness is key, Boycott is strategy!

Show the 1% how it feels to be in the 99%. Identify the king of the hill and collectively boycott their assets. If we want to kill their power we must cut off the circulation of their wealth. We vote for the 1% with every dollar we spend on their assets. It is our own greed in buying discount prices from irresponsible corporations that has caused our unbalanced distribution of wealth. Our public protest is feared to end in violence, which will do terrible damage to our cause, and for what? We're fighting against our own! Let the police participate in our movement instead of making it their jobs to fight us. Solidarity is something ALL of the 99% should share!

Immediate steps of action would be first flooding the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Boycott-Wall-Street/280954148592612

Next, create an app that gives clear information on how to elect a boycott and calculates a real-time report of the progress we're making.

Then, create a website that facilitates the boycotts in effect as well as offers local alternatives to the businesses we boycott.

Lastly, make a "Boycott Wall Street" wrist bands to sell and use the profits to provide strategic, effective social reliefs. Completely democratically!

We are incredibly inefficient spending hundreds of thousands of dollars just to keep people building forts and standing in the street. We could use that money to do our own buy-outs!
