Forum Post: Permanent Occupation Territory

OWS Non-Profit Organization idea: Why not start a non-profit for the OWS movement for the purpose of buying permanent occupation territory in the most influential business districts throughout the country and throughout the world?

The OWS Park would serve as a perpetual reminder of this Great Depression / Recession and provide a park for permanent occupation purposes in the most influential business districts. A non-profit can be set up for the purpose of collecting donations and permanent occupation territory can be bought as donations reach the right figure. A non-profit can be set up to collect all kinds of different donations to help the unemployed and for the young have a voice in our society and a permanent place to voice opinions which cannot be shut down or made inaccessible.

OWS is not a flash in the pan movement for the next election, but rather a world wide movement against the political-corporate establishment that abuses power against the 99%. It is for the 99% everywhere so why not have permanent occupation territory?

So why not show support for a non-profit organization that provides permanent occupation territory in the most influential business districts of the country and of the world?

It is always great to have a place to go for equality in a place where the 99% are very under-represented.
