Just watched "Corporation" last night. A fascinating documentary about how corporations have come to run our world starting with a Supreme Court ruling that concluded a Corporation could be deemed a "person" in the court of law. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it.
This got me thinking about the best way to create a movement that would throw the 99% on their heads. What if WE became a corporation. I know this sounds ridiculous, but hear me out. The People's Corp. could exercise power in a way that we can't as the "freeloaders" they've made us out to be. The way you get them to listen is by speaking their language...playing their game the RIGHT way. We could show that the people do have the power to stand up with one voice and create change. We would be COMPLETELY transparent with all our finances, give sideline summaries of what we are doing, and choose our battles and causes based on voting from participants. It would definitely get people talking. I'm interested to hear your thoughts on this.

End corporate person-hood. Support the Human Worth Amendment. To learn more, please go to: http://occupywallst.org/forum/human-worth-amendment/
I enjoy the mass media calling those who support the ReVoLuTiOn free loaders because it shows one of two things....either how out of touch they are with what is happening in the world around them as they journal false information or the fear they have in reporting it correctly. Either way we win! We don't need to fall into their idea of how change is made. There is no template necessarily for what we will achieve with this occupation moving it forward exactly as it is. So, although The People's Corp sounds like a good idea it doesn't have to be a result of the ninnies false reporting.
I think your head is in the right place, at least as far as I'm concerned.
I agree. Worker-led industries and co-operatives are a good start.
Have you read Parecon by Michael Albert?
no, but I will. thanks for the tip.
