Forum Post: People Powered Car

Hello,

My name is Nick Turner. I'm not able to come to the protests, but I am doing my part to provide ways for people to have more power in their lives. I'm making a pedal powered car, the Tuhart B-2, that I hope will not only reduce our impact on the environment, but will reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and make people stronger and healthier.

I apologize if it sounds like I just made a sales pitch on a website that protests against runaway capitalism, but I just wanted to let you all know that I'm trying to give people a way to bypass the corporations that dominate the market of personal transport, such as GM and the oil companies, and start a movement towards more sustainable transportation methods.

If anybody thinks the pedal car would be a welcome addition to the protests, let me know. I could put cardboard body panels on it and allow people to write their messages on it. The car could be driven around as a rolling protest against the stagnation of fuel efficiency standards that are likely the result of corporate lobbying.
