I can't help but feel that if the Boston occupiers had laid on their backs and locked arms and legs, the police would have had a much more difficult time removing them. There is the famous scene from Ghandi in which they know the horses will not trample on them so they lay down on the ground. All that interlocked dead weight. As a last resort it could be pretty powerful... can anyone think of other non-violent tactics?
just hope they don't bring the horses
lock arms and lay on your stomach, you can not get leverage to pry peoples arms apart when they do that.
Relocate or peacefully force mass arrests -- am I missing an option here?
