Corporate America wants you to spend like there is no tomorrow this holiday season - the only problem is - there IS a tomorrow and the signs are not good:
Europe's economic picture is getting grimmer by the day
Economic activity weakens in China, the world's economic engine
America is already in or is very likely heading toward a double-dip recession
Economic forecast point to the recession lasting at least for another 2 years
Considering all of this - wouldn't it be wiser to save rather than spend? Well, Corporate America might give you a "Thank you" note - but it might be in form of a pink slip or higher credit card rates next year.
Be wise, be smart, be prepared and stand up against corporate greed. Participate in "Buy Nothing Day" November 25th!
