Forum Post: Panhandling

Guys - An observation from an outsider who supports most of what is going on. I usually eat my lunch in the park and walk around to see what people are saying etc. Lately (last week or so) there are guys walking around pestering people for spare change 'to support the movement'. As an outsider I can tell you that this is really annoying. If you want to set up a donation booth that makes sense but the guy that starts lecturing you about giving him a few bucks (i've heard 'to do my laundry', 'get some lunch', 'keep us going out here') while you are taking in the scene is not helpful.
