Hi, I have to write an essay on the comparison between the Occupy Wall Street movement and the open source movement. I am not very familiar with either but think I have the jist of both but have no idea if I truly understand both. If there are any websites that discuss that I can be pointed to, or if anyone can provide information that can assist in my understanding that would be great! I'm in the chat room but no one is there :(

I would say that the idea that one and all are free to suggest improvements (to code or to the way our society is structured) is probably a good starting point.

This is what I was thinking to start with but when I asked my boyfriend, he shrugged his shoulders and was of no help lol. At least I'm on the right track :)

On further thought, bottom-up vs. top-down might be a nice, broad lens to look through
