Forum Post: OWS rallying goal?

The US government has serious debt problems on its hands. If we're going to stand up for the 99%, how about we demand taxes equivalent to every penny of tax cuts for the wealthy pushed through under the Bush administration?

Those tax cuts led to speculation, increased the wealth gap, and were financed largely through deficit borrowing we're now left to pay off. And they amount to literally trillions of dollars.
