This content is user submitted and not an official statement

OWS is simply a Distraction created by a Community Activist (guess who) to point the Blame towards anything BUT himself, and carried out by those most easily fooled, the young impressionable, ignorant, hungry for attention and Greedy.

a Classic move out of the Islamic Radicals playbook.

OWS are the Sons Of Plunder, the greedy ungrateful. and for the Islamic Radical, there is NO remorse for using you as Tools.

Here is the Old American saying that counters this play Mr. Obama,
You can fool some of the people All of the time, All of the people some of the time.
but your in deep shit come November 2012.

FIRST OF ALL...the damage that has been done to our country was not done in just three years. The problems with our economy, with our job market did not take place in just the last three years when Obama was in power.

When he ran for president he made the nation believe that there could be change by making him president....however the government as a whole (Obama included) was unable to allow the change that the majority of the people wanted to occur because where would the money come from that supports them?

I have seen old people....not only young protesting...and they are the ones who have seen the country change for the worse and don't like it. It is not the only the impressionable, or the ignorant....and all the movements will have people who are ignorant and who are impressionable including the movement and the individuals who are hell bent on getting Obama out of office.

[-] 1 points by robertthelarge (11) 13 years ago

What happened to YES WE CAN!?

An utter disaster and failure as a President. An embarrassment. A shame. I am glad to see OWSers protesting this POS who is the current President.

[-] 1 points by PandoraK (1678) 13 years ago

I think the key word in that statement "YES WE CAN" is the word WE.

Are you part of we?

[-] 0 points by change4us (15) 13 years ago

he is one person...and he did not say yes "I" can...we voted and then we watched....and whose to blame that it was the country has done for generations.

[-] 0 points by RexDiamond (585) from Idabel, OK 13 years ago

Yeah yeah yeah, and if Bush was still in office, you would be singing a totally different tune. Liberals love to spread the blame around when the finger is pointing at them.

Whatever dude. Just stop.

[-] 0 points by robertthelarge (11) 13 years ago

Liberals are blood sucking parasites. OWSers all either live in their parents' basements or all skipping college class to attend the filth fest in NYC.

[-] 0 points by change4us (15) 13 years ago

i voted for bush. i am not a die hard liberal...i don't blame republicans and i don't think democrats are the best. i think that people in a county, people in a nation should be able to speak and make change. it is people who make up a nation not a government or a political party.

Agreed, this economy is like a used car passed from driver to driver. from Bush to Obama. from Clinto to Bush before that.

we don't expect it to run perfectly when the driver gets in the seat but we do expect him to maintain and repair that vehicle. If he tries and fails well good try buddy but more is at stake than saving face here so Out you go.

strange how NOW the "obama has only been in office 3 years and the damage started way before then" argument is now valid but Never considered when Bush took office, lol. barely sworn in and the dot com crash was his fault, 6 months in office and 9/11 was, Still Is, his fault. Anyways...

Glad to see you offering up your point of view

[-] 1 points by change4us (15) 13 years ago

and maybe that's why change is needed....the country is broken....and the people of this country, including the protesters, need to take ownership in it.

I guess like a scientific experiment....we need to see what the constant is and that is what needs to change. The leader of this country is not the constant in the equation.

I don't think that the Obama administration is the first time the argument that the president has only been in power for so many years has been used or seen as valid.

[-] 3 points by doctorproteus (84) 13 years ago

yea i tend to like the Christian playbook of "lets go take over that country because god said so" that we used in 2003. that worked wonders for everyone.

[-] -2 points by journey4word (214) 13 years ago

God didn't say so. Bush did. and was backed by the MAJORITY pissed off about 9/11 and these countrys unable to police their own idiots.

Imagine what we would do if some American group were here in the US staging attacks against ANY country on the planet?

we'd have locked them up.

say that American group is our military or government? OK then it becomes an act of war, but no country has claimed these terrorists. nor can they protect our country, our familys or our property. SO... we have to go do it ourselves.

[-] 2 points by tomcat68 (298) 13 years ago

a bit Extreme towards the conspiracy club but....

seriously unless we could rule out your theory it IS possible. far fetched but Highly possible given everything he has done thus far.

nahhh this is silly, lol. he came up with a birth certificate didn't he? a few years late but didn't he?

he has said he is a christian. that's good enough for me.

[-] 2 points by MyHeartSpits (448) 13 years ago

You couldn't be more wrong. OWS has plenty of bad things to say about Obama. For starters, he's a liar, and he's exactly what we're protesting against - he IS Wall St. bought and paid for.

[-] 1 points by FixTheHouse (11) 13 years ago

Obama is not the problem. He is doing what he said he would do. And that is to be president of both Democrats and Republicans. Unfortunately, he is just the president and he has only one power. The veto. He doesn't get to write the laws. He can tell people to vote for things, but they don't have to. Did you really think that one man could "Change" things in Washington. It's up to you, and everybody else to be seen and heard. Make them see! Make them hear! Make them do!

[-] 1 points by tomcat68 (298) 13 years ago

well, that's pretty much textbook. and design of his position.

what do you think about his "executive orders" "We can't wait for Congress to do its job. So where they won't act, I will," B.O

and REALLY? I wouldn't have a problem with that, if they came from someone with ANY resemblance of a successful record in Anything he has done in 3 years. This Nation holds their breath Every time the man does something, and for good reason.

you don't have jobs because someone else does and hogging all the money. Really. lol The economy is screwed up because of a few private corporations. LOL funny how a Liberal Socialist President would blame a Capitalistic system and so many would follow blindly

[-] 0 points by Kiki999 (10) 13 years ago

Why does everyone blame Obama? Seriously? It makes me sick because everyone who voted and supported him must have thought he was carrying a magic wand into office. Because so many have turned against him, expecting HIM, ONE MAN to undo alllllllllllllll the shit that the corrupt have left and change everything in a year, let alone a term! it's Gonna take more than one person, it's gonna take everyone supporting the one president who did want to see change. And I guess most people don't realize that the president can only call the shots AFTER the 1% give him the ok! Do the ignorant people talking shit on here not realize that???????

[-] 1 points by MyHeartSpits (448) 13 years ago

Educate yourself on the patriot act (which he continued and expanded), the war powers act, and the freedom of information act (which he is trying to destroy). He's a horrible president. Let it go. I don't blame him for all of the country's problems, but that doesn't mean I give him a pass, either.

[-] 0 points by MyHeartSpits (448) 13 years ago

Of course it's up to us. But Obama is doing a lot of things he said he wouldn't do. And don't you dare ask what those things are...

[-] 1 points by PandoraK (1678) 13 years ago

This is not defense it is just practicality.

None of us is privy to the same information a President is, and that includes candidates. Becoming privy to that information often changes what one understands can and can not be done. Compromise is the only option.

Situations change, we are not micro, but macro, world events do affect us and with that affect changes what can and can not be done.

Events closer to home also changes those cans and can nots.

We judge while looking through a magnifying glass when what we need and don't have is a telescope.

[-] 1 points by MyHeartSpits (448) 13 years ago

Your post sounds like a bunch of excuses... But at least we agree that we need to make the changes ourselves.

[-] 1 points by PandoraK (1678) 13 years ago

Well, do we the public receive all the same information a President receives?

It often sounds like we form opinions on only half the information, if even we get that much, but it's all we have to base those opinions on. It doesn't mean we are right or wrong, just that we have less information.

Sometimes we all have to do things we'd rather not do, sometimes those things are actually the right thing to do.

It's not excuses, it's being sensible.

[-] 1 points by FixTheHouse (11) 13 years ago

I'm not here to defend Obama. I'm just saying that he is not the problem. I would even venture to say that most of the politicians in Washington are not the problem. They are a byproduct of the current flawed system. This system can be fixed. And, fortunately the people are in the street putting pressure on that system. We just need to keep waking people up from their zombie existence.

[-] 0 points by Kiki999 (10) 13 years ago

That's the only way to get into office in this country. He believed he could make a difference. And he has. You just haven't seen it yet.

[-] 1 points by MyHeartSpits (448) 13 years ago

Oh, i've seen it. And I don't like what I see. Educate yourself on the war powers act, the patriot act, and the freedom of information act (which he is trying to gut). He's also at least as warlike as Bush was.

[-] -1 points by journey4word (214) 13 years ago

amen, Glad to see not everyone is so easily fooled

[-] 1 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 13 years ago

I'm a proud supporter of OWS and I think Obama is a war monger just like GWB.

OWS is not anticorporation and anti-banks. It is against corporations that abuse their power and are infiltrating our government, which includes the Obama administration as much as it included the Bush administration. It is against the abuse of the monetary system that the federal reserve is responsible for. We have a debt based privatized monetary system that is not in the constitution. The abuse of Wall Street, the federal reserve, and the government has caused our US dollar to decrease in value drastically over the past 14 years.

Propose a bill to end the patriot act.

Propose a bill to end massive contributions from lobbyists, unions, and corporate influences. The "supreme" court ruled McCain-Feingold unconstitutional. Obviously the supreme court is corrupt. They claimed that "McCain-Feingold" denied "free speech" even though 1: Money isn't free and 2: 100% of US citizens still would have had freedom of speech and the ability to contribute to campaigns. So how was the supreme court able to say it suppresses free speech? Another fact, a lot of corporations are owned through many investors. Sometimes these investors are foreigners. I didn't know foreigners in other countries were allowed to participate in our government. The government is supposed to be governed by it's people. I feel like most members of the government have never read the constitution.

I'd say propose a bill to nationalize the federal reserve but that bill has already been created and is being reviewed by the Financial Institutions and Credit Committee. Look up The National Emergency Employment Defense Act of 2011.

All these rich people keep telling us that our country is in massive debt... all the while they keep making more money. These rich people are members of congress and the president.

"Both parties are rotten - how could they not be, given the complete infestation of the political system by corporate money on a scale that now requires a presidential candidate to raise upwards of a billion dollars to be competitive in the general election?"

THE WAR IN IRAQ IS BASED ON LIES from Bush to Obama it's still the same war monger.

[-] -2 points by journey4word (214) 13 years ago

we have our differences as we have our likes

some march and protest believing everyone in the crowd is against what they are against, likes to believe everyone would like what they like. but that's not what it is or what we have.

we can argue whether or not Bill Clintons nose looked like the head of a penis but we DO agree on some things. I think Everyone is against corruption. some blame the Government official, others blame the businessman. some blame the crack dealer, others blame the junkie, many blame both. but we are all opposed to it.

a little heated debate never hurt anyone

[-] 1 points by PandoraK (1678) 13 years ago

I do think there is plenty of blame to go around.

Business wants a atmosphere that enhances profits (specify all business for this one). Big business (meaning billions of dollars) can afford to influence and even place politicians that can enhance that atmosphere. Politicians are told that 'this is the way to help America and Americans' and believe it. Some politicians believed it first.

We (the vast majority of us), didn't pay enough attention, we were too busy earning a living, trying to keep up, improve our lives and do better by our children and maybe kick back with a cold one and watch Monday Night Football.

We forgot. We forgot that we are the movers and the shakers, we forgot to do our part, and, although it hurts to say this, the politicians let us, business encouraged us to forget.

Whether you agree with OWS or not, we, us, needed this. We needed shaking up. We needed to remember that we are the force behind it all.

Now that we are shaken and paying attention, we need to make sure 'they' all know that we are alert and watching and intend to do something about it.

[-] 1 points by change4us (15) 13 years ago

what is the Islamic playbook? and why bring Islam into this? Yes there are radical ismalic people but if you say Islamic playbook....I think you need to review the Islamic faith. Good luck with that. Mr Obama has the backing of the top weapons dealers and Wall Street bankers. It's you vs. Obama's 1 billion dollars campaign. You don't think he has intelligent dudes who will as you said, pull out another 'distraction,' to deceive the masses.

But even if it's not Obama, its not going to make a difference. OWS has to soon challenge Obama though b/c no president would turn on who he considers as his faithful followers.

Keep being easily manipulated. Its people like you that make others want to vote for obama on purpose just to spite you. Maybe if you weren't such a hateful dickwad, obama wouldn't win in inevitable 2nd term. Haven't you people learned that the more you make a fuss about something, the more popular it gets? How did you get past female circumcision?

Do you wear a burka while he does you?

Do they have split crotch burkas?

Why is it all the Muslim men are at the strip clubs on the weekend?

[-] 0 points by Lizzy0Windsor (36) 13 years ago

Neither female circumcision nor the burka are necessary to the Islamic faith. The burka does not have a crotch. In my experience men of Arab extraction are about three times as virile as the average European American male. This is probably why they often frequent strip clubs, and also why I married one.

Beaten and Oppressed

When Christian Women Marry Muslim Men Tuesday, 08 December 2009 03:44 PM EST Elisabeth Farrell

When Christian Women Marry Muslim Men
A Disturbing Trend

You’ve seen her—the veiled, dark-robed woman in the checkout line at Wal-Mart or Target. She’s Muslim, you think to yourself, probably from the Middle East or Asia.

But on closer inspection, you discover that she has blue eyes. A few strands of sandy blond hair peek out from her head veil. Or perhaps she’s black and speaks with a distinctly American accent.

She’s not from the Middle East, you realize, but from your own backyard! In fact, she could be someone you went to high school with.

Why would an American woman marry a Muslim man and convert to his religion and way of life?

The answer might surprise you: She could have been tricked into conversion. And the result might be intense physical and emotional abuse.

In growing numbers, women all over the United States are marrying Muslim men from other countries. Many find themselves trapped in a nightmare of oppression, abuse and control, according to W.L. Cati, founder of Zennah Ministries, an organization that reaches out to women married to Muslims.

“I should not be alive,” says Cati, an American woman who endured an abusive relationship with a Muslim man from the Middle East. After 14 years of horror, she managed to escape. Most women, she says, don’t make it out alive.

“I’m not bashing Muslims,” Cati says. “This is a morality issue. We’re talking human rights.

“They are allowed to beat their wives and children. They are even allowed to kill. And this is going on right here in the United States.”

The religion of peace -lmao

PARIS — The operation in the private clinic off the Champs-Élysées involved one semicircular cut, 10 dissolving stitches and a discounted fee of $2,900.

Ed Alcock for The New York Times

Dr. Marc Abecassis carries out hymen reconstruction surgery on a 23-year-old French woman of north-African origin.

But for the patient, a 23-year-old French student of Moroccan descent from Montpellier, the 30-minute procedure represented the key to a new life: the illusion of virginity.

Like an increasing number of Muslim women in Europe, she had a hymenoplasty, a restoration of her hymen, the vaginal membrane that normally breaks in the first act of intercourse.

“In my culture, not to be a virgin is to be dirt,” said the student, perched on a hospital bed as she awaited surgery on Thursday. “Right now, virginity is more important to me than life.”

As Europe’s Muslim population grows, many young Muslim women are caught between the freedoms that European society affords and the deep-rooted traditions of their parents’ and grandparents’ generations.

Gynecologists say that in the past few years, more Muslim women are seeking certificates of virginity to provide proof to others. That in turn has created a demand among cosmetic surgeons for hymen replacements, which, if done properly, they say, will not be detected and will produce tell-tale vaginal bleeding on the wedding night. The service is widely advertised on the Internet; medical tourism packages are available to countries like Tunisia where it is less expensive.

“If you’re a Muslim woman growing up in more open societies in Europe, you can easily end up having sex before marriage,” said Dr. Hicham Mouallem, who is based in London and performs the operation. “So if you’re looking to marry a Muslim and don’t want to have problems, you’ll try to recapture your virginity.”

No reliable statistics are available, because the procedure is mostly done in private clinics and in most cases not covered by tax-financed insurance plans.

But hymen repair is talked about so much that it is the subject of a film comedy that opens in Italy this week. “Women’s Hearts,” as the film’s title is translated in English, tells the story of a Moroccan-born woman living in Italy who goes to Casablanca for the operation.

One character jokes that she wants to bring her odometer count back down to “zero.”

“We realized that what we thought was a sporadic practice was actually pretty common,” said Davide Sordella, the film’s director. “These women can live in Italy, adopt our mentality and wear jeans. But in the moments that matter, they don’t always have the strength to go against their culture.”

The issue has been particularly charged in France, where a renewed and fierce debate has occurred about a prejudice that was supposed to have been buried with the country’s sexual revolution 40 years ago: the importance of a woman’s virginity.

The furor followed the revelation two weeks ago that a court in Lille, in northern France, had annulled the 2006 marriage of two French Muslims because the groom found his bride was not the virgin she had claimed to be.

The domestic drama has gripped France. The groom, an unidentified engineer in his 30s, left the nuptial bed and announced to the still partying wedding guests that his bride had lied. She was delivered that night to her parents’ doorstep.

The next day, he approached a lawyer about annulling the marriage. The bride, then a nursing student in her 20s, confessed and agreed to an annulment.

It's quite common for young virgin males to be obsessed with female genitalia in this way. Especially among the cracker community.

[-] 0 points by Lizzy0Windsor (36) 13 years ago

No one is suggesting you marry a Muslim man Robert, but don't take away our liberty to do so. I would actually recommend it to any woman. My husband is real man and provides for me in every way, not an effeminate milksop like so many young men in this country.

[-] 0 points by robertthelarge (11) 13 years ago

My husband is a Muslim. I assume you knew this is common practice, for Muslim men to love and marry according to their natural desires. And OWS supports gay marriage, including for Muslims, among whom there is an incredibly high demand for same-sex marriage licenses. My husband does have hetero dalliances on the side though, like most Muslim men. He too has a nine inch penis and is very virile. He is currently doing a woman named Liz. Oh, wait ,,,,,, (!)

CURRENT ISLAMIC WIFE BEATING AROUND THE WORLD

The previous section discussed the writings of various Muslims on the doctrine of wife beating. Below are examples of wife beating. Since I last updated this article many more related articles and events have arisen. I’m going to cut and paste excerpts and links from various articles and give the reader the option to read their entirety.

1) Islamic wife beating in America.

Below is an article on wife abuse in the Muslim community. Here are a few quotes, but I encourage everyone to read the article in full.

Wife Abuse in the Muslim Community[30] by Kamran Memon

"While North American Muslims loudly protest the widely-documented Serbian abuse of Muslim women in Bosnia, the abuse of many Muslim women at the hands of their own husbands in North America is hidden and ignored by the community.

Of those who reach a breaking point and seek help, many Muslim women turn to Imams but often find them unhelpful. Imams often tell these women to be patient and pray for the abuse to end. Some imams make the abused Muslim women feel guilty, telling them they have brought the abuse upon themselves and instructing them to go home and please their husbands. Other imams, who are sincerely but mistakenly misinterpreting Islam by putting the importance of family privacy above any harm that might come to the individual woman, tell the women it is wrong for them to discuss their problems with anyone other than their husbands. The Imams's reactions stem from ignorance, cowardice, or friend-ship or blood relationship with the abusive husbands. Relatively few imams have had the wisdom and courage to tackle the problem head-on. As a result of this, many abused women don't bother turning to Imams for help.

We need to shout loud enough so that they can hear through the money in their ears.
