When you see a liberal attempting to push their ideology or radicalizing the movement, point them to this thread.

We need to have the OWS represent as many views as possible. The moment one side is prominent over the other, we start to lose.

It's definitely one of the reasons I'm here. I was an early supporter of the Tea Party until they got hijacked.

Another danger is not just here. I've been following news articles and people are being dragged into trolling flamewars... where they respond to attacks based off of Faux News myths and end up making the Movement look entirely socialist.

People need to be kept on message and avoid dissension into petty ideological arguments. It's so very frustrating.

It can be bad. I know there's a lot of sock puppets around. Every now and then you can catch one. You'll respond to one troll then a different one will refer to it as if you were talking to him.

You might want to try the chatroom. You can't have much in the way of discussions, but you can still try to keep people on target and encourage them to embrace other ideologies along with their own.

Fu, might I recommend splitting your time between monitoring OcccupyWallSt and involvement with the forums of some local Occupy[YourNearestCity]? There are quite a few groups out there, and a lot of them are floundering around, semi-disconnected from the greater movement.

Gerald Celente is the BEST! I've been following him since 2000. Good post! And yes, I do agree, there's a lot of groups attempting to co-opt OWS. I was once a Tea Partier myself until the Fascists came in full bore. Be aware, and be yourselves. Don't let em take over you.
