For Pete's sake, if OWS was taking these people and lynching them after finding them guilty, you twits might have something to fear. But, they aren't. This means that there are several posts that are fear mongering. Drama queens.

This will be fun. Anyone..we now can make our own courts and claim people we dont like to be guilty of things we don't agree with. YAY!

and don't spin it, yes I think Goldman Sachs needs prosecuted. By Attorneys general. In real courts. With real judges. This is kids playing dress up. Hell of a rabbit hole you are digging yourself into, OWS.

It's a great way to start a new country. Replace normal courts with kangaroo courts. Use a logical fallacy to defend it (two wrongs don't make a right). "Hey look! They are screwing us over, that means we can do it too. Yo, mob rule time!"

Whose next in line?

you have to be joking! ha ha ha how can you rely on the attorney general to do something about this when even he is guilty of malfeasance?

So, instead of designing a court that is more impartial, let's do the complete opposite and create a mob like kangaroo court? That makes perfect sense. Occupy should be leading with good examples, not the worst one available.

what is impartial about having a justice system headed by someone who is himself a crook and who reports to a president who is financed by the banksters themselves ? If that isn't Alice in Wonderland stuff then nothing is

[-] 0 points by Glaucon (296) 12 years ago

Who said that was impartial? What I'm saying is that two wrongs don't make a right. You don't cure the problem of impartial courts by design some that are even more impartial yourself. Occupy should teach by example and show us how to run an impartial court.

It was a kangaroo court. Who cares who OWS declares guilty in such circumstances. What's the point of encouraging mob rules?

[-] 0 points by Scout (729) 13 years ago

what was the alternative? Obama and his administration are clearly not going to pursue the matter . Which mob are you talking about? The Banksters are also a mob and worse than the Italian Mafia!

What most people don't realize is that a government is simply a gang with a very LARGE budget. That's it. They make the rules because they have the weapons. That's what gives them their authority, and nothing else.

So, the argument goes - since the government and law are corrupted let's resort to kangaroo courts, an even more corrupted system? Shouldn't Occupy lead with good examples, not the worst one available.

Logical fallacy: two wrongs don't make a right. It's not because the bankers act like a mob that OWS should to. There are many alternatives, but kangaroo courts isn't one. You want to go back to the days of mob rule?

Ok don't just talk talk talk like the politicians and never get anywhere. what is your practical solution?
