I sure hope the OWS is not collecting money to try to influence national politics. Some may view that as a bit hypocritical.
Just wondering, what are they raising money for?
No money is used to donate to political figures. Any donations at that level are decided by the individual person.
An individual person cannot give "consensus." Consensus has to involve more than one person.
Then again, "consensus" is just another buzzword around these parts...
I've not been to the GAs or anything, but if I had to bet I'd say it has to do with providing for a bunch of people camping through the winter in the middle of NY?
Just a guess.
I'll give OWS protesters food... but NO money.
Demand financial transparency from OWS.

I will donate money when there is 100% transparency on OWS end
Nobody knows.....
They're raising money to exploit people. http://www.occupyr.com/General/thread.php?id=200
You know what, I think the webmaster of occupyr is exploiting controversy to send traffic to his/her own website.
This email about "justine" switching the link refers to something that happened in the first week of the protest where many people were getting together and trying to get to NY to participate. IT clearly stated on the WePay page what "justine" intended to do with the money.
However, the "bad" part was that the domain name was given out as an "official" website so it was confusing in nature, but if you had read the wepay page it was clear what the money was intended for.
That link was changed to go to NYCGA a long time ago, why occupyr wants to continuously come over and highlight that link is a mystery to me.
