Forum Post: OWS being brought down by their own hubris

OWS was an idea that had merit at its core - the problem is that you protestor folks couldnt just organize a large march or two, declare your message sent, declare victory and go home. No, you folks had to 'Occupy' - had to 'create a new kind of society and show the world a better way.'

The problem is that your brave new world has been seen by the rest of the world through the camera's unfliching eyes all across television and the internet, despite the mainstream media and OWS attempts to spin it and release heavily editied versions of events and videos. Every dark underbelly and dirty secret is coming out, and the support for your movement has dropped accordingly.

You wore out your welcome amongst those who supported you from without and are losing your support from within - and depsite all the claims of agent provacateurs that you make - you only have yourselves to blame
