Forum Post: Overview and Petition for a Resource Based Economy (RBE)

I believe in the overall concept of RBE and I know that if we can get enough people to sign the petition, we will have a more permanent solution to our planet's (growing) problems. Adding more laws to protect the majority can be repealed in the future so it will just bring us back to the same chaos we're in. I don't know about you but the world has gone through numerous revolutions yet we keep ending-up in the same bad situation. It goes without saying that our present system does not work. With all the current uprising in the world, there is no better time than now to change society. It's also interesting to note that those who have given a serious thought to world problems and solutions wound-up with a similar concept as RBE. I'm so ready for it ---- to secure our lives, the lives of future generations and live with dignity. Maybe I sound too excited to you but what the heck ---- we need try something new.

Just FYI ---- The Zeitgeist Movement is an offshoot of the Venus Project. Though rumored that these 2 organizations are splitting, the concept is still good. I hope you can set aside time to read and give it a chance. Other people may not be geared for it but don't let that stop you from signing the petition and passing it on to others because your readiness should be the only one that matters at this point. We have to start somewhere, don't we?
