Thanks to the unholy alliance between the Banksters (Gangsters) on Wall Street and the corrupt Politicians in Washington, America, and the American Dream has slowly been eroded and washed away by the greed that permeates virtually every policy decision that affects nearly every American family at every level of their existence. To think that this way of life is sustainable, with it's waste, and economic disparity, and corruption, is the height of lunacy, and time itself will show that these protests were the beginning of the end for those whose delusions brought about the fall of the America our forefathers knew. Their greed has wrecked America. There is nothing wrong with our attitude. But there is much to be said about the warped principles that have led us to this here and now. Those are the things we must change. One by one if necessary, or all of them at once if called for. This is Evolution. If necessary, we will rename it Revolution. We will not be privatized. We will not be bought. And we will not be marginalized. We are the America they sold out.

Some good thoughts, my friend.

I know much of it sounds simplistic. But look at us as a species. The very things that unite us will soon begin to divide us. We can no longer continue on a path of self-centered, war-like animals caring for nothing but our own individual wealth and prosperity. The fundamental changes these protests represent are cultural in nature, and they can be held off for a little while, but not indefinitely. Or Rome will burn and then it will fall. That much history has taught us.

I have to agree! There is this gut feeling I think a lot of us have that if we keep going the way we are going, it is just going to become worse and worse. Something has to give. This is well said and thought provoking.

How many of us have looked around at the world and wondered how long it will last as we burn through limited and finite resources, while at the same time wondering what kind of world we will leave to our children? And our grandchildren? Is this the legacy we want to bestow on generations to follow...one of greed and avarice...and total wanton disregard for the planet that nurtures our species and all the others that share this earth with us? Do we want to be remembered as a virus that this planet needed to wipe out only to ensure it's very own survival? These people we are protesting against suffer from the illness of greed and it has blinded them to the things that life itself was meant to teach. Balance...moderation...harmony. Show me where these values exist in any lexicon they are familiar with and I will eat these words and give anyone thirty minutes to draw a crowd before I do.

Also... there are just scores and scores of people that use incalcuable amounts of resources, but don't pay a dime in taxes. What we really need is for the occupiers to stand up and volunteer to pay more in taxes! Please co-sign this sentiment.

Perhaps the answer is that everyone should pay each unto their own capability. But unfortunately, there are some whose only goal is MORE! I WANT MORE! And more is never enough. This is what needs to change. It is a travesty of the human condition that we have homeless people in the greatest country on earth. That children go hungry each night before bed. That health care is often a priviledge of the wealthy. I can go on... but the protests will bring all these things into the uncomfortable glare of the spotlight...and hopefully keep them there until people start to wake up from the purposely induced fog they have been in for so long.
