I think that revoking corporate personhood is the right way to go. If we have more than one demand then this protest will weaken. Corporations right now are invulnerable to legislation because they have the same right as people, so their lawyers can easily find loopholes. For instance you can't limit how much a corporation can spend on any given political campaign without restricting how much people can spend on a given political campaign, because corporations are people too. By revoking corporate personhood we'll be revoking corporation's immune system and it will lead to a gradual change in the system.
freedom
Corporate personhood, when enacted, was the push the snowball needed downhill in increasing the gap between rich and poor, and the jobs flying out to other countries unimpeded.
:Corporate Personhood" was created by the rich to protect their interests. Cooprorate Personhood will not go down easy, cause guess who makes the rules?? Thats right those with the gold make the rules and create history from their viewpoint..good luck though I always root for the underdog :)
We are already united. We are 99 percent of America, uniting to retake our America.
Yeah, Unions should be stripped of political contributions, too. You shouldn't force workers to donate to someone they don't want to!
it is better to try and fail than it is to do nothing and succeed
I think we need to abolish grades in schools. all they do is create hyper competitive people. we should also outlaw all scoring systems in sports...no scores, and everyone is a winner! competition is for barbarians!
I agree-corporations are not people and should not have the same rights.
I never liked nitrogen. Can we abolish that too?
i like the idea of abolishing capitalism. if we're going to dream, why not dream big?
i like the idea of creating our utopia in the streets, in and around wall st. What would post capitalism American look like? or rather, how would it function?
