With the 4th highest federal corporate income tax, and the strength of unions in the US it makes sense that the manufacturing jobs are headed over there. Its just better business.
Then we can all do each others laundry! That is all there will be left to do by the time the Indian,Chinese and Mexicans take all our jobs.
PLEASE !!! Help me spread the word about this man and his mission to stop this catastrophe. Obviously he failed and he died a few years later but we can pick up the ball and run with it.
Paying workers well can also be a way to reduce the cost of production, but it takes longer. By paying the workers well enough so that they can send their children to college, those kids come back as scientists and engineer who develop new ideas an order of magnitude beyond what currently exists, allowing products to be made better and less costly, as well as developing completely new items.
