Forum Post: Our Demands?

I have read a lot of these posts, of what the Occupation stands for. The problem is each one is a bit different, and some are quite radical while others are practical. Here is one thing that I have always seen when I read these posts: That the People need to have the Power. That all laws should not be judged by a "representative", but by the People. A president should not be voted by the Electoral College, but by the People. That one man should not stand for America, or be the face of America, but the People should. If we all can make this our main demand, others will follow. Any law passed will need to go by the people, and since we are 99%, it will go our way.

Exactly, but we need a comprehensive strategy and a candidate that implements all our demands at the same time, and although I'm all in favor of taking down today's ineffective and inefficient Top 10% Management SYSTEM of Business & Government, there's only one way to do it – by fighting bankers as bankers ourselves. Consequently, I have posted a 1-page Summary of the Strategic Legal Policies, Organizational Operating Structures, and Tactical Investment Procedures necessary to do this at:

if you want to be 1 of 100,000 people needed to support a Presidential Candidate – such as myself – at AmericansElect.org in support of the above bank-focused platform.

OWS is not 99%. OWS is approx 1,000 stinky rats. Also, added to the crowd, are the throngs of homeless guys looking for free food, free drink, a bed, and some hippie chicks who want free love. Enjoy the 15 min of fame OWS, you'll be gone before you know it...

Fortunately for this country, the founding fathers knew the problems associated with democracy, which is why this country is not one. Stop trying to institute mob rule, if what you said above is truely your goal, I stand against you until my dying breath.

So you want to change the Constitution (which dictates Representatives, Electoral College)...or scrap it?

[-] 1 points by Narace187 (21) from Pembroke Pines, FL 13 years ago

A hard question, possibly, but right now we do not have as big a voice as we should in government. If the majority wants a change, it should be changed. Right now the majority is speaking, and not many government officials are listening.

OWS does not represent the majority of America.

OWS does NOT have 150+ million Americans supporting it.

Nor will 150+ Americans support scrapping the Constitution.

try again...
