Everybody should check out a website that was created for organizing movements. It's founder created a model called the M.A.P or Movement Action Plan. It has been used in the Anti-nuclear movement for the last 50 years. The website is "www.doingdemocracy.com", named after a book written by the founder called Doing Democracy:The MAP model for organizing social movements. It details the long term actions needed to keep the movement on track and proceeding to the next level. Many people will become discouraged or depressed with not being able to create the change we want and not knowing what to do next. The idea is to create organizations to educate each other on the local level nation wide, and organize activities to: petition, protest, and create events to focus in strategic ways. The other important part of the next step is to change the pattern of behavior so the powers that be, who oppose the movement, will be a step behind. This website is part of the SMEP, Social Movement Empowerment Project. It provides materials, training, and networking to aid in the progress. Another interesting organization is at the website www.eon3.net
The goal of occupy should be to eliminate what caused all of the problems we have now . Our political system , through legalized bribery in the form of campagn contributions. The way to solve this problem is to pass a constitutional amendment that limits all elected officials in the us to one four year term . No mo
great idea, we can also vote out existing career politicians on both side of the aisle that have taken bribes aka lobbiest money. U can legalize prostitution, but its still prostitution. Put in people that will not take 1 red cent of lobbiest money.

Thank you. Maybe you should post this site to forum, if you haven't already.
A funny thing happened to the Declaration on the way to the forum... This working group was announced on 15OCT at the NYC GA but disappeared from this website under questionable circumstances. I came across it four weeks ago and have been hammering away in my comments. There are many concerns about the list of grievances but that to me is what needs to be thrashed out at the NGA. Holding the NGA is important because it'll send a clear msg to congress, and the 99%. Time to take this to the next level. Dylan Ratigan says so, Van Jones says so, 99% Declaration says so, theghostofthomassjefferson says so. Time is short, you've been here working hard. Please help focus the visitors. thx
Thank you for the resource. Here is one for you. Gene Sharp is the world's expert on non-violent resistance. See http://www.aeinstein.org/
And The anti nuclear movement has been sooo sucsseful.
I assume you imply sarcasm. The original goal of 1000 nuclear plants has never been realized. This is significantly due to the protests that became public and shed a light on the anti-nuclear movement, prompting people to learn about nuclear power dangers. Enough people voiced concerns about nuclear sites in their locality to end any plans to build in most planned sites. No new plants have been installed since 1977. 104 in existence. support is at it's lowest ever.
Good points.

Next step should be water canons, rubber bullets and tear gas to end OWS terrorism.
