The google CEO made 101 million dollars in compensation last year,

and yet somehow there are people out there that consider a middle class worker who is trying to keep his pension from being stolen and his job from being sent overseas the enemy!

wow, just wow.

That's the same as 2500 people making $40,000 a year. Can anyone explain the supply and demand factors that would justify such a salary? Or are they delusional in believing they provide that much benefit to a company?

you're 100% correct about this. Imagine 2500 people spending $$ on cars, clothing, food etc.... VS what a single person can spend. It should be obvious which scenario stimulates the economy more.
