Ayn lovin' lyin' Ryan backpedals on the virtue of selfishness.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/09/30/paul-ryan-disagrees-with-ayn-rand_n_5909172.html?ncid=txtlnkusaolp00000592

"clip of Ryan saying that Rand "did a fantastic job of explaining the morality of capitalism" -- questioned why conservatives continue to idolize Rand. When host Marc Lamont Hill showed Ryan a clip from Oliver's Rand takedown, the congressman said the last time he read the author's work was "years and years ago."

Squirm much Paul?

Bout time the stupid fucks woke up to the fact that publicly stating their admiration/worship for the selfist philosophy would be public poison for them. Too bad they can't go and remove all of their selfist loving crap from the internet - Hey?

[-] 1 points by 99nproud (2697) 10 years ago

phone pix, & internet have made it easier to catch pols in lies & damaging statements.

Harder to hide, but not impossible since people don't always pay attention.

But more are/will, & WE have to keep yelling @ them, here But more importantly in our daily lives.

Nice to see someone questioning him on it so quickly after Olivers great piece.

Oliver/Huff, but no MSM.

Figures

A little more Ryan/Ayn policy/philosophy

http://www.politicususa.com/2014/10/02/kansas-portent-disaster-republicans-privatize-medicare.html

"For the past three years, House Republicans have passed a Heritage Foundation budget presented by Ayn Rand devotee Paul Ryan that Senate Republicans were livid did not get passed or voted on in the Senate. Of all the calamitous austerity, tax cuts for the rich, tax increases for the poor and middle class, and program cuts in Ryan’s Path to Prosperity budget, none are as valued by Republicans as privatizing Medicare, Medicaid, and soon Social Security."

(Heres an issue the trolls will always avoid)

Denying Health Care coverage as is available through the ACA - in red states - Is - the biggest fuck-up that those in office could make.

[-] 1 points by 99nproud (2697) 10 years ago

That's why so many Repub Govs have caved in to allow their citizens to have affordable health ins.

I should always qualify that I support eliminating private hlth ins co's (like VT is moving towards) but certainly support all additions to public options like the Medicaid expansion repubs are against or want to privatize like Ryan & the extremist libertarians.

Years of hard work in the streets and voting booth is needed

[-] 0 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 10 years ago

Denying health care coverage is also another reason why they are trying so hard to deny the vote to the minorities the poor and elderly in their states.

[-] 0 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 10 years ago

Yep = years and years of hard work to be done and if done properly will be the end of the for profit health care system and the birth of full coverage for everyone.

But caving on ACA coverage will not save the assholes in office as they continue to alienate the majority of the public in OH so many ways.

AynRandian, supplyside, austerity, trickle down, still destroying economies/families wherever it thrives:

Kansas is a current example of a Gov embracing, implementing these self destructive, anti family policies'

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/10/02/1333797/-The-New-Republic-calls-Kansas-Republutopia-a-conservative-hell?detail=email

"The reality on the ground is much different. Radical Republicans own the party and are pursuing a Galt’s Gulch-like “utopia” first sketched out by extremists like Ayn Rand."

Who could argue that these pols who embrace these oligarchic, anti family policies MUST be retired!!

This AynRandist (selfist) philosophy is at the center of all our problems.
