Do you really think just because the "troops" came home that we won't have some kind of military presence in Iraq? What about the 2 remaining big military bases in Iraq? There was 505 US military bases in Iraq and nearly all of them have been turned over to the Iraqi's along with billions of dollars worth of military equipment. There will still be a military presence in 2 of the huge bases and of course hired privatized guns like the former Black Water.

It's really sad that this scheme from the movie W is coming true. The war against Iran is most likely imminent. Congressmen Dennis Kucinich had this to say about the passing of the National Defense Authorization Act “This bill authorizes permanent warfare anywhere in the world. It gives the president unchecked power to pursue war." That's not just for Obama by the way. That's for anyone who becomes president in the future. And according to the Armed Services Committee, Yemen and Africa are on the agenda as well. Not a specific country in Africa, it just says Africa.

And I really wish people would stop giving Obama credit for ending the war in Iraq. The departure was required by the 2008 Iraq-U.S. Status of Forces Agreement signed by Iraq Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and then-President George W. Bush and approved by the Iraqi parliament, giving it the status of law. Obama is a war monger just like Bush. He's actually bombed more countries than Bush.
