I hope this is a joke - I will never support any cause that is supporting someone who has been going around the world killing. As for the Iraq war, it was his duty to arrest the war criminals for the illegal war and for the torture. The BP oil spill handling was a joke - they even got a safety award the next year ( and they want me to re-use a bag), He is all for the tar sands in Alberta that will kill innocent first nations ppl and will rape the land. If this cause starts moving in that direction I am out. By the comments I'm reading seems like I'm not alone

that's a stretch for someone who appointed Geithner and who largest campaign contributer is Goldman Sachs.

I'll not be voting Obama if at all.

If I vote at all it would be for Paul at least he has a history of anti-fed. The way I see it is we protestors get vilified on the news by both Fox and CNN. Now Ron Paul gets ignored and vilified by both Fox and CNN So he must potentially be a problem to the Networks funders whom are the 1%

If he is bad for the 1% then that good enough for me.

He had 3 years and did nothing to help main street. 2 of those years the Dems controled Congress and Senate. He is bought and paid for by GE, BOA and Goldman Sachs. His reelection campaign is FILLED with Wall st/corp people.

All OWS will reelect Obama (User Submitted) Posted Oct. 22, 2011, 6:41 p.m. EST (2 hours ago) by obamaosama

Barack Obama, US president, offered more support for protesters against the global financial system after a weekend of demonstrations in cities around the world, but called on them not to “demonise” those who worked on Wall Street.

On Sunday, Mr Obama honoured Martin Luther King at a dedication to a new memorial on National Mall in Washington. Referring to protests that have spread from Wall Street to London, Rome and elsewhere, Mr Obama said: “Dr King would want us to challenge the excesses of Wall Street without demonising those who work there.” Mr Obama had previously said the protests “express the frustration” of ordinary Americans with the financial sector

We need structural change. Re-electing Obama or having someone different will make no difference until we end the current system of legalized bribery by corporations and other special interests through "campaign donations." We need real CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM first and foremost - then we may actually have some real statesmen running for political office instead of the corporate lap dogs we have had for the last three decades. Campaign finance reform needs to be THE main goal of these protests or it will all be in vain!

Do not take my word for it. Google the top people in his reelection campaign. Do a little research.

http://overthecoals.blogspot.com/ Job boom plan for America

For the protest to guarantee winning the next election the plan needs to force the multinationals to buy all their supplies only made by American workers. Prevent any imports from China and known slave states from being unloaded. The 13th amendment abolished slavery. Having slave made goods in America is unconstitutional. The 13th amendment doesn't say move the slaves from Alabama to China.

Unions should have their own pay scale. Any workers who don't want to join the union will need to negotiate their own pension, their own wages, their own health care. Workers who refuse to pay dues need to be penalized, not rewarded. Let the scabs get screwed and they might get the message.

End all tax deductions or tax credits and use a sales tax to collect taxes so even criminals will pay their taxes. Eliminate the entire IRS which would save $400 billion annually. The FAIR TAX does this. The Congress hates the FAIR TAX because it eliminates their tax loophole kickbacks for bribes. That's why they misinform the public when they call the FAIR TAX regressive.

To refuse to vote for that platform would be stupid and insane. The privileged keep ripping off all the rest of us and the public is in their propaganda trance allowing that to happen. Any person against this plan is sabotaging the OWS protest and needs to be heard. Let's hear any reason to oppose this end globalization screw job.

Well I think Obama had to deal with more crap than anyone. Lets see he had the BP oil spill, Iraq War, plus every country in the middle east suddenly went into revolution.

Plus he had to deal with a GOP that has refused to work with him on any and every issue issue. The only mistake Obama made was not destroying those Bush Tax cuts when he had the chance.

[-] 2 points by MadAsHellInTX (598) from Shepherd, TX 13 years ago

He's still taking the wall st bribes, he still lies, and the list of promises he broke is loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong.

He screwed the pooch. Nay, he screwed America and the world.

[-] 2 points by classicliberal (312) 13 years ago

He didn't have to deal with the GOP. He had to deal with his own party, they had a majority in both houses in the first two years. He didn't have to listen to a word the GOP said. The BP oil spill was no concern of the office of the president. He could have kept his nose out of it, just as revolutions in other countries are none of his business. Obama also expanded the wiretapping program Bush started and made two more wars... you don't think these are mistakes?
