Occupying Corners is a high-visability, low-impact way to peacefully get out into your community to raise awareness about the issues and facts that are effecting the daily lives of every American that passes by. By allowing yourself to simply stand on a corner with a sign you become a human face to a concern that involves everyone. Even if someone just silently reads your message in passing—regardless if they share your views or not—you know you’ve made contact. Hand shakes, “Thanks You”s, honking of horns, and in-depth questions: all of these things can happen—one on one—if you just stand there smiling, facing your fellow pedestrians, letting them know you are here for their benefit. No tents required!
To Occupy Corners you don’t have to march or yell or even hold your sign up high. Taking the time to quietly holding your compassion for others to read is an amazing contribution itself.

Every effort can make a difference.
And if it gets too cold to occupy a corner, come here:

The Revolution starts here! No one can silence the Revolution!
This is more my speed than the port action that's only hours away. I fear it will backfire...
