Hello Friends,

As I was walking the campus of the University of South Carolina today I noticed a small occupy march going on. It couldn't have numbered more than a dozen. I noticed the majority of passerby's visibly annoyed at the Occupy presence, perhaps with good reason. Over the last few weeks the Occupy movement has grown to interrupt and agitate the lives of the 99% it claims to be fighting for, whether it be through transit disruption, squabbles with law enforcement, or otherwise. Anyway, as I passed the group I next came upon the campus blood drive, and it suddenly dawned upon me. What if the Occupy Movement were to attach itself to positive aspects, as opposed to disruption? If the participants in the local movement decided to go give blood in the midst of their protest, could some positive outcomes not ensue? Some positive media coverage for the Occupy movement is in sore need and Law enforcement would be much less likely to attempt to quell Occupiers who were say giving blood , feeding the homeless, or doing some other sort of good while spreading their message. Corporations do in fact have giving arms to establish some sort of legitimacy within the community, something the Occupy movement clearly lacks at the time. Just some food for thought, and please forgive all of my grammatical mishaps. It has been a long week.

We are getting plenty of positive coverage from the media, and are grateful to the brave journalists who dare to go against the banking bosses. Actually the Occupy Movement is helping out with the homeless. Many have camped out with protestors and have become involved themselves. The Occupy Movement is a true movement of the 99%. Jesus would have seen it as true Christianity in action.
