We claim to be a leaderless organization. Wall St. has become the hub for this movement; WE ARE FIGHTING THE RIGHT BATTLE IN THE WRONG PLACE. You will not win by fighting the power in their hometown. We want Democracy. Our current Democracy is funded by Wall St., but made possible by our friends in WASHINGTON DC. The point is not that Wall St. greedily exploits the public; the point is that our elected officials are pawns in the system! WE WILL NOT WIN UNTIL WE FOCUS ATTENTION ON THE PAWNS THEMSELVES!

Further, you can't fight "the corporation" because (they are too powerful, but also...) many corporations are not evil entities. The current government is the root of all evil in this situation.

the only thing that matters right now is CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM, unless you get the big money out of politics, no change whatsoever will occur, this should be the focus of the protests, we need to have honest politicians that work for the public before any thing else can get done, campaign finance reform (ending corporate personhood, kicking the lobbyists out of the Washington) is the perfect starting point. It really is a no brainer that this should be the one thing we can all agree on. Because unless we do this, all those other demands that people have will never be addressed, not in a millions years.

Don't let John Boehner, Eric Cantor, and the rest of THE MINDLESS FUCKS in DC slander your sincerity!

Not everyone can be in DC. Protest everywhere.

DC is our nation's capital. I don't suggest we up and move from Wall St to DC. Occupy Wall St. has become the backbone to a forming revolution; but this revolution will not take place in NYC! I'm saying if there is a hub set up in NYC, an equally hospitable hub needs to be established in DC.

People are protesting in DC, no? Anyway, they should do it there to. The revolution will not take place in any individual city. It'll be nationwide.

People are protesting in DC. That's exactly the point. Don't let individuals fight the fight. As an already organized group, Occupy Wall St. should be responsible for organizing an equally successful hub of protests in DC.

The movement is sort of a bottom-up thing though, so it's not clear that OccupyNY should be calling the shots. I think the people in DC are perfectly capable of organizing themselves, and of course they can discuss with any Occupiers nationwide for advice, suggestions, etc.

Do we not share a common goal? Does Occupy Wall Street not posses powers that a less organized group might want to utilize? For example, a forum like this should be established in OccupyDC.org. I haven't been able to make it down there, but how's their camp site? We should all be working together to accomplish a common goal on a common platform.

From a common movement which is not defined by geographic location!
