I believe the Political Platform for the Occupy Wall Street movement should include the demand for law changes to achieve: (1) Executive accountability in the banking industry inclusive of law changes to make criminal and civil prosecution of such executives easier. (2) Equitable tax law changes whereby highly compensated individuals pay a fair share of taxes. (3) Ending Excess foreign involvement should be significantly reduced inclusive of the winding down of wars and subsidies to wealthy nations. (4) Encourage job creation through the federal funding of infrastructure projects.
All this is a moot point until you can get your politicians to listen to you. And the only way you will do this is by taking the money out of politics. The money a candidate should get should only come from their district or state and it should be capped as a fair amount based on the average income of that district or state. Corporations, unions could only contribute up to that maximum level just as all other americans and can only do it in the district and state of their corporate headquarters just as a registered voter can only legally vote in the district and state of residency.
I like the district / state idea.
get republicans to vote yes on the jobs bill-by any means necessary-POWER TO THE PEOPLE!
I think you forgot:
and (5) Re-elect President Obama
Well I believe he is the best suited to lead in the right direction
