Angry Voids in Dead Air Space: A message for those not truly in despair
I was trapped in a quandary Straddling television waves Trying my best to Hell-raise But then logic entered the fray
Everyone is still shouting Dancing the time away While power ties sling power lies Or so your signs proclaim
You're filling up the anger hole Pretending your livelihood's at stake Crazed for the imagined glory While trust funds lie in wait
Living life on the outskirts Like you are the men of our day But misinformed cries for a system's demise Do not a movement make
And men of purpose have suddenly surfaced With interests sound and credible Paying lip-service to you shoe-less students With their eyes set on the tangible
But still you shout, if only for a time Your views eclectic, forever misaligned Your minds envisioning a world without law Without consequence, without control
And I do not write this with a Bullish grin For a corporate face I do not wear But aimless banter and worthless chatter Leave me angry, and in despair
