This content is user submitted and not an official statement

The best thing you can do is get the shallow thinkers of America on your side. Keep your messages simple and concise and along the lines of the status quo. The intellectuals of your group need to keep their intellectualism and research based chats to family and friends. You can not reform stupid you can only guide it or join it!!! Why not do both!!! So occupy the stupids of Main Street America. It is obvious that your group flourishes on numbers.

It is not stupid, it's ignorance.

Intelligence is a matter of opinion. IQ tries to quantify it but it's still subjective.

I have faith that people can learn. But, your right, we can't ignore reality ourselves. I think the message is not just one simple message.

It really is all of us. We all carry a message, we discuss these, and when we come to consensus, we take action.

We need to help others understand and this comes from first getting it ourselves.

What I think most realize, and moves them, is the severe income equality we now have in country where we now have the 400 top rich people making more than the bottom 60% of that 99. The rich have foolishly played the wall street market like it was a casino game. The derivatives, those lies, were AAA rated, the scam was insidious. The truth, they scammed us, and we bought in. With regulations removed, nothing could stop them. It's GREED. Through and through.

Also, the rich are NOT job creators, and need their tax cuts rescinded, this thread details this point: http://occupywallst.org/forum/if-the-rich-are-jobs-creators-where-are-the-jobs/

Most get it, the polls reflect this. We are here to remind them. And take action. : ))

Well yeah the stupidity I am talking about is ignorance but I can't call it ignorance because it would denote me felling sorry for these people and their situations. But I will say one thing your movement does not have the time and manpower to educate everyone in America about the evils of corporate America so keep it simple and attractive have one demand that you are sure that everyone will rally behind. I think that money out of politics is a good start: I know a lot of people that would rally behind that.

I agree with getting the money out of politics as well. It's really become horrible over time. They've been talking for decades now about this but never have they taken serious action. We need more action than talking heads.

Oh yeaah, they reaffirmed -In God We Trust- just the other day. Isn't it wonderful, their so busy getting the business of the people done.

Don't even get me started on how much time Congress wastes per year. Did you know that the members of Congress only works 109 days per year and during reelection time it is about 5 days less. These people are a rip-off. No way in hell should they get 175,000 for dicking around and wasting time.

I agree totally, it's a farce. It just miffs the minds of all of us how ineffective congress has been at doing the people's business. They are out of touch will with what America needs. They have been bought and sold by the rich corporations, lobbyists, Koch Brothers, and these front groups who do the bidding for these greedy money grubbers.

This is the reality check of my recent statement: Intellectualism is a individual thing: people who are intellectuals are usually born with the ability to facilitate intellectualism and research. They do not represent the majority of people in America. This is a fact!!!

The majority of Americans are shallow thinkers who's ideologies are usually based on the ideologies of families, friends, neighbors. You can NOT reform stupid!!!! I am telling you, not all people are intelligent. You have to talk to stupid in dumbed down terms. I am sorry to ruin your day with this reality check!!! And yes their are shallow thinkers in every country not just American. I am just saying since your organization attracts intellectuals who spew sometimes radical non status quo ideas it is time to dumb it down a bit so that you can attract the dumbed down people on the fence about your organization. You need numbers trust me. You want the bankers and GOP to shit themselves steal their idiot base!!! Trust me!!!!

What, choose between impact and depth?

No. We have to do both. We've eaten enough Dumb Pie, we've grown ill on it. Occupy does need clarity, but it also needs foundation.
