NEW YORK (AP) - New York City officials are bracing for tens of thousands of protesters who could converge at various locations around the city on Thursday.
Deputy Mayor Howard Wolfson said that officials believe that Occupy Wall Street protesters could clog subways and bridges and more.
City officials said Wednesday that people have the right to assemble and protest, but they can't break the law. They said police are prepared to handle the protests.
let bloomberg pay for it
Pay for what? Acting like a responsible Mayor and not a Left wing hack for a change?
except the officials didn't have to deal with the protestors at Zuccotti Park
wasting city funds
3million the cost of monitoring people of peace
"people of peace" when used in reference to OWS is a oxymoron.
In to what regard?
Tomorrow is going to be a busy day for news anchors and helicopter pilots.
don't forget to carry cameras
$3 million a month? This is insane.
"Officials said that dealing with the protesters just at Zuccotti Park had cost an average of $3 million a month."
