NEW YORK (AP) - New York City officials are bracing for tens of thousands of protesters who could converge at various locations around the city on Thursday.

Deputy Mayor Howard Wolfson said that officials believe that Occupy Wall Street protesters could clog subways and bridges and more.

City officials said Wednesday that people have the right to assemble and protest, but they can't break the law. They said police are prepared to handle the protests.

Officials said that dealing with the protesters just at Zuccotti Park had cost an average of $3 million a month.

Pay for what? Acting like a responsible Mayor and not a Left wing hack for a change?

3million the cost of monitoring people of peace

"people of peace" when used in reference to OWS is a oxymoron.
