All these election post is stealing what occupy was really about, I can take a guess and say Obama is going to win a second term, and here's a reality check, I can't tell you Obama ordered the raids on occupy that would be an unfounded statement, but I can tell you that he didn't stop them, so fuck obama fuck the elections lets get back to business.
First thing first what is the plan how do we organize the plan, what is the current status of occupy as a whole and work on our weaknesses and strengths. Are there any online working groups? and why not.
right!
plan to organize
organize to plan
goal and visions
visions and goals
mission statements
statements of missions
vaguesness and concepts and theories - thats what we need
thats how koch's tea potty got what they wanted - isn't it ?
there is no difference between rand paul and Bernie Sanders
there is no difference between eric cantor and Elizabeth Warren
and to hell with anyone that suggests real poliical action
Occupy has no political affiliation.
How about a plan to Action and how do we get there.
I have attended hundreds of OWS meetings in dozens of working groups and 50%-75% of the time is wasted on "planning" and "philosophy" and "theory"
the answer, as the tea potty proved, is political action
but too many in OWS are dreaming
If you want to kvetch, keep it up
if you want to DO - see our OWS WG on the web
corporationsarenotpeople.webuda.com
our position is non-partisan, but involves political action
the gun nuts succeded with political action
the anti-abortion nuts succeded with political action
the anti-alchohol nuts succeded with political action
the tea potty nuts succeded with political action
we can profit from their examples - or we can kvetch
Have fun creating for more war
People who go to protests don't seem to care about having a presence on the net. Maybe they're right. Everything Ive seen on the net is dominated by party shills.
Maybe there right but we need to regroup and wakeup new people to the issues and educate the public. The internet is were its at now lets work on what we got.
Someone needs to get a website going for OWS unless this one will restructure. I don't have the skills to do it. You need to isolate disussions regarding elections, ideology, economics, etc.. There should be sections for things directly related to OWS like for people that actually go to meetings. I'd like to see no links to facebook, twitter. No twinkle stinkle points. No mission statement. This site does a good job with news but we need something a little different. More focus on the forum.
Mic Check!
Thumbs Up!
