Folks… the next step in the progression should be to occupy the vote!

The system is in already place, and to change it will require that we play by the existing rules.

If necessary… we should create a Political Action Committee of our own!

The premise would be to solicit and accept funds from all of the concerned, and effected American supporters, with the ultimate goal of returning democracy back to the people of this country as it was intended!

I am currently constructing a site for this very purpose. It is going somewhat slow because this is my first site and I spend the majority of the time staring into my monitor like a deer in headlights. Anways, any ideas are welcome. I would love to be able to make even a small difference. You can see what I have so far at occupythevote.com.

I'm not trying to spam or drive traffic -- just interested in others' ideas in where to take this.

Peace

Have you read the 99% Declaration?

"This is not a question of politics, of right or wrong. This is a question of intelligence. We must be smart. We enjoy popular support, for now. But to preserve America's good will, we must keep our demands narrow: end the corrupting influence of money in politics. That is something a majority of Americans can get behind. That is something a social movement can achieve. And then, and only then, can the other issues be successfully pursued." -theghostofthomassjefferson

As they say, vote early and often.

Actually... I've never decried a bank... (take the blinders off)... they will ultimately be a facilitation to the cause!

The people will use all of the tools at their disposal as granted in the constitution!

Yeah! Except the country wasn't meant to be a democracy, but a republic. And do you plan on keeping these funds in the very banks you decry, too?
