The bailouts could not have occurred without the politicians. Every year the average household income goes up in DC and down across america. Housing never slumped in DC because there was always another lobbyist or government fat-cat to scoop it up. The banks and financial institutions may have asked for a handout, but it was our elected officials that gave it to them no-strings attached. Our federal government has usurped more power than it was originally intended to have under the constitution and it is using this power to gain favor and influence for it's own self interest at the expense of everyone. Federal employees now make more than their private sector counterparts. Federal spending is increasing exponentially. Use what little power you all have. Use the power of the vote and occupy DC. The focal point of the corruption and graft the movement is against.
