The Republican National Convention: Tampa Bay, Florida, Aug. 27-30.
The Democratic National Convention, Charlotte, NC,.. Sept. 3-7.
Wouldn't it be great if a MILLION of us descended upon both Conventions? A number no media could ignore.
We should also ask for a time to speak to the convention participants, even 15 minutes would make a difference.
What is wrong on the planet?
What solutions do we put forward?
Are there any solutions we can agree on?
Extend a hand that we can work together.
But outside the convention arena it should look like Zuccotti Park to the 10th power!
Power to the people!
Some of the real issues : Scrap the whole thing and lets start over. Totally free, and lets go from there.
Federal reserve abolishment - put us back on a monetary standard not using "we the people and property" as collateral. Fix the broken system that was used as a fix for the depression. No more taxes as we have them (payroll/IRS/etc) Taxes on what we buy based on what we can afford, on large ticket items use income and expense forms to set tax rates on this table. This will promote growth. Legalize, tax, and regulate all drugs,(although I don't condone all use) use taxes to reform addicts that want help. This works in Portugal and other countries. Use some proceeds toward healthcare.
Obamacare, No penalty if you opt out.
Freedom of choice. No rules or judgment. Do not impose on others. Freedom of assembly - a constitutional common god given right. Right to bear arms, of you are not a hardcore criminal and can demonstrate that you can handle the responsibility.
Repeal all executive orders against our freedoms and rights since 9/11, esp Patriot act
I can go on, just post what you think should be addressed.
