Politicians in the pockets of corporations and corporations playing politician! A circle of “you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours;” at who’s expense? No longer are we a government for the people and by the people, but for the politicians and corporations and by the politicians and corporations. A relatively small group of individuals hold all the power and they are using it to keep it that way, and gain more power. Why are taxpayers paying salaries, benefits, bonuses, bailouts, debt, gifts, vacations, meals and entertainment, vacations, second homes, gifts, campaign costs, etc. for people who have millions of dollars accumulated by way of “scratching the right back”, and who pay little or no taxes themselves? Those who govern, govern themselves? Not! The authority has no authority! No one is holding those accountable who steal from the people and say it is for the people. They say: “Hey, who thinks we should pay ourselves outrageous tax-free salaries with rediculous retirement and benefits?” “Oh, and it won’t cost us a thing; we’ll make someone else pay for it." "Also, let’s make all of our friends rich and powerful too and they’ll return the favor” “All in favor…say duh!" ”When all hell breaks loose, we'll blame somebody else."

I totally agree! It makes me sick to turn on the news and hear about the big bonuses being paid out to these people who are basically robbing the middle and lower classes of America. Unfortunately, there is no one watching out for the largest group of citizens in our country. The wealthy own this country, and something has to be done about it.

I know, we must bolster Occupy DC.

Wish I knew how to get the words "Book a flight to DC." to as many protesters as possible.

Alas I am but one man. One ordinary man.
