One of the complaints against occupy is that protesting doesn't get much done. Here's an idea. What if the group formed a legal arm from its ranks of lawyers who would volunteer their time, and started filing lawsuits against the banks and others on behalf of consumers and shareholders who have been ripped off. This would be a way to actually create a change. It could also be a source of income for the group as legal fees recovered could be used to fund other activities. Instead of protesting the banks, let's sue them!! Sue the banks for their excessive bank fees. Sue the rating agencies for having looked the other way in the face of fraud. Sue the politicians who take bribes from Wall Street. Sue! Sue! Sue!
i've thought about suing corporations.... sue for something stupid but legit for a 100k. they will give u the money to keep it out of the media... idk just an idea but prob will never do it.
