I am a grad student at Wright State University. I am attempting to put together an oral history and archival project of our small facet of Occupy history, Occupy Dayton.
I am trying to find if there are any other ACTIVE oral history projects like this going on. Google seems to yield results, but they turn into dead ends as far as getting off the ground.
You can check out my blog at thedaytonproject.org
I know its not much, but I'm a one man show. I hope to expand this as time allows.
If you know of another Occupy oral history project, please contact me at mellok@riseup.net
One thing that might help you is to just type "Ohio" or "Dayton" in the search button at the right under the LiveStream button here on the Forum page. It brings up a bunch of threads that were about Ohio. Good luck.
Cool project. I'm not sure about other history projects, but it seems like a good idea to keep a record. It could make things obvious when looked back upon. But as far as these events go, I feel like this is some required reading: https://firstlook.org/theintercept/2014/02/24/jtrig-manipulation/
You;re best bet is to post this question on all the different facebook pages, you will get a much wider range of responses. Potentially even message them with this, people generally like to do these types of things.
Thanks guys!
